No Study Hall and Detention today, Wednesday, March 2.

TALENT SHOW TRYOUTS: Tryouts for the annual "Breakers Got Talent" show will be held today, March 2, through March 4, at lunchtime in the auditorium.

Seven and eighth graders: If you have received a letter or are just interested in AVID, please come to the informational meeting at PGHS Library, tonight, Wednesday, March 2, at 5:30.  We will be serving pizza and soda, and lots of information about our Middle school and High school programs. If you intend to go, please let Mr. Rosen, Ms. Lawrence or Ms. Mahr know, and how many people you will bring. Any questions please see the people above.

Track Meet: The first Track Meet is today, Wednesday, March 2, at Palma, 4:00 pm.

Attention 8th graders: The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk packet is due no later than Monday, March 28! Please make sure to get your packets turned in. If you do not want to go, please let the office know. We need to make sure we have enough students going or the trip will be cancelled.

If you are interested in Tennis, Track, Wrestling, please stop by the office to sign-up! Remember, you must have a completed sports physical on file in the office before you can practice.

Congratulations to all of those who participated in our PGMS Spelling Bee!
A special congratulations to our PGMS school champion, Caroline Coen as well as our 2nd place winner, Alison Eng, and 3rd place finisher, Abdhi Jadeja. Caroline will represent PGMS at the Countywide Spelling Bee on Sunday, March 13, at the Western Stage Theatre on Hartnell College’s campus.  The Bee will begin at 1:30 promptly and will last approximately 2 hours. Caroline will be competing for the county title and the chance to participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in the Washington, DC area from May 29 – June 4, 2016. Best of luck to Caroline!
