Boys 7th grade Basketball: MTJAL playoff is today, Wednesday, February 10, here vs. Carmel. The game starts at 4:30 pm.

Attention 8th graders: The Panorama picture is today, Wednesday, February 10, at 11:00 am (during 4th period).  Order forms are available in the office.

The HS honors makeup exam is scheduled for Tuesday, February 23, 3:30-4:30pm.  The students are to go to the PGHS library. Please let Ms. Lawrence know if you are planning to take the PGHS Honor’s Make-up Exam.

PGMS PTA Fundraiser is tomorrow night, Thursday, February 11, at Islands Grill at Del Monte Shopping Center from 11am – close.  Just present a flyer to your server (or show it on your mobile device February Newsletter) and Islands will donate 20% of your food sales to PGMS. Fliers are available in the office.

Attention all students: You need to take everything out of your lockers before you leave for break on Friday, February 12, because they are spraying for ants!! Please leave your locker door open!

PG Youth Center is having a dance at the Youth Center on Friday, February 12, from 7:00 -9:00 pm. $10 at the door and $5 for Youth Center members. 

Kindness Week kicked off on Monday, with activities and will conclude with an assembly on Friday!  Please encourage students to participate in the following:

Today: do a favor for someone (i.e. open a door, pick something up for them, etc.).
​Thursday: do a favor for a teacher (i.e. help put up chairs, sweep, wipe the counters, etc.).
Friday: do a favor for the school (i.e. pick up trash, etc.).

We will also be having two Spirit Days:
Thursday – Blue and White Day
Friday – Red/White/Pink Day for Valentine’s Day

The kindness theme global focus will be the Remera Mbogo orphanage. They are in desperate need of a new fence after someone broke in and stole computers and animals from them. The fence is $3,600. Leadership students will be delivering tubs to your classrooms for donations!

Attention 7th graders: If you have a BLUE Physical Science textbook please return it to the library.  You will not need it any more this school year and you do not want to be fined at the end for not returning it.

Attention 8th graders: If you did not get the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk packet, please come to the office to pick one up.  The packet is due no later than Monday, March 28, 2016.
